Feng Shui:

Feng-shui - literally "wind and water" - is a Chinese millennium art which aims to harmonize the energy (Qi) of a place so as to promote the health, the welfare and the prosperity of its occupants. It is one of the Taoist Arts, as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) or acupuncture, with which it shares a common core of knowledge.
For centuries, the Chinese refer to Feng-Shui to design their cities, build their homes and bury their dead. Nowadays, the business world consults Feng Shui masters to make decisions about the location of their offices.

Feng Shui has no relation with any belief or religious practice. It is rather about creating space so as to optimize the flow of energy by positioning in the right place at the right time, the Five Elements that are Wood, Fire, Metal, Water and Earth and ensuring that each occupant of the house knows its favorable directions to benefit from them. Therefore it is not about disrupting your environment with multiple modifications or to bring several items supposed to restore a balance. Most articles on this site are to be regarded as luck magnifier decorative objects to strengthen an intention that you want to permeate the place. They are used in Chinese tradition, however, their accumulation doesn’t bring anything.

Period 8:

Besides studying the energy of the space based on direction, shape and landscape, the feng shui practice takes also the time dimension into consideration, measured with both lunar and solar calendars. The solar calendar is used to study the feng-shui time dimension: this calendar is known as Hsia calendar and this feng shui method is known as San Yuan or Flying Stars. In the Flying Stars map the period 8 starts on 4th Feb 2004 and will end in 2023.

Mystic Knot:

In Buddhism, the mystic knot is one of the 8 magic auspicious objects. Its form is equivalent to the infinity sign done endless times and implies that there is no beginning or end, reflecting the Buddhist philosophy regarding the endless cycles of birth and rebirth, known as samsara, reminding us the essence of existence and our quest to get released from our cycle of rebirth. It also represents a smooth and easy life and is seen as the symbol of good tidings with minimal illnesses, problems, pain, setbacks and any sort of sufferings. It also symbolizes the persistence of love and romance in lasting weddings. The mystic knot has also a protection role when traveling, against accidents, theft and other dangers. In times of stress, focusing on the mystic knot, visualizing it permits to calm down while providing significant appeasement.
